This chair, I felt would be better upholstered, the back in behind the back pillow is divided into two horizontal sections and needed Velcro to hold the seam in place and was not acceptable to the client.

Antique Chair

When my husband retired and  we moved to Florida, I decided not to continue reupholstering  furniture.  Instead only create custom slipcovers.   Reason being, I was getting to old to lift a sofa by myself and  I wanted to have a much smaller workroom.  As time has gone by, some of my customers have requested  reupholstery.  Most pieces are to large for me to handle and I refer them to an excelent upholster. Below are a few small  pieces that I have chosen to do.

                         Small Upholstered  Furniture

My customer inherited the 2 chairs from an eldery Aunt and wanted them restored.

                      Wrought-Iron Bar Stool

There were 3 bar stools to reupholster.  The wrought-iron frame is heavy and very well made and definitely worth upholstering.

I found this chair at a tag sale for $8.00 and reupholstered it.

                                 Bou'doir Chair

The orginal skirt was pleated.  I deceided to change it to a soft gathered one, to allow  the pattern to be more fully exposed.
